Lessons are tailored to your particular needs: brushing up on existing skills, extra help for FLA (French
Language Arts) or preparing for a specific occasion (SLE, exams, wedding speech).

Please note that availability is highly limited at night or on Saturdays, as most of our teachers are teaching groups

Choice of location: lessons can take place at one of Alliance Francaise campuses or online.

Membership: To purchase a package of private lessons, learners must be a member of the association. Become a member of
the association first here.
If you would like to organize a private class with more than 3 students in the same group at the same level, please contact
us directly at info@afcalgary.ca.
We recommend all classes to be a minimum of 90 minutes depending on the age of the student. Each package has
to be used within the following time-limits: 30 hours = 5 months, 15 hours = 3 months, 3 hours = 1 month.

The premium packages are flexible. Students are allowed to change or cancel
lessons with at least 2 business-days' notice. To request a change, an email
must be sent to the teacher, and this email cannot be sent on a Sunday. The fees for the package must be paid in full before the
course begins.
Please note that travel fees are charged for courses outside of Alliance Française Calgary premises (20% additional fees within 5k of AFC). For farther classes, please refer to our T&C.
All prices are tax-exempt as we do not apply GST on educational services. Alliance Française Calgary is a Canadian non-profit organization. Our training fees are eligible for the tuition tax credit.

The Essential Package requires all 15 hours of instruction to be completed during a single calendar week either online or at Alliance
Française with a fixed schedule determined at the start of the class. Please note that
unlike the Premium Package, changes or cancellations are not possible with the
Essential Package. For greater flexibility, we recommend booking the Premium Package.
Note that a 20% additional fee for travel is charged for courses outside of Alliance Française Calgary premises.
